Peter Rosen Productions, Inc. optioned the 1981 novel by William Brinkley. Peter Rosen Productions, Inc. held a previous option in the early 90's for the book, and financed the packaging and development of several screenplays, working closely with William Brinkley, a personal friend. In 2000, Peter Rosen made a deal for the further development and eventual production of a feature motion picture with Mirage Entertainment (Sydney Pollack). Anne Rapp ("Cookie's Fortune", "Dr. T and The Women.") is writing the screenplay. The film will be financed by Intermedia.

Passione: The Life of Enrico Caruso
Peter Rosen Productions, Inc. has purchased the rights to the non-fiction book, Enrico Caruso: My Father and My Family, by Enrico Caruso, Jr., and Andrew Farkas (Amadeus Press) for a television movie based on Peter Rosen's documentary on Caruso for the A&E Biography series which gained much critical acclaim when aired in October, 1998. The project is currently being set up with development funds from sources in Great Britain, Sweden, and Italy. This development project was among the four chosen as most promising from hundreds of submissions at the recent MIPCOM television market in Cannes. In the US, we are in the midst of talks with Francis Ford Coppola's American Zeotrope Television.
The Bridge
Peter Rosen Productions, Inc. has signed a deal with Joseph E. Levine Presents (Richard Levine) and Gay Talese, the author of the 1961 non-fiction book Fame and Obscurity (Random House), for the production of a drama based on Talese's story about the building of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. The script treatment, developed by Rosen and Talese, is now being taken to market by Wardlow Associates in Hollywood.
